Roland’s first demo day held in a trailer at a dealer’s premises deemed a great success. More similar events planned.
Roland DGA’s Demo Days Roadshow truck made the first stop on its nationwide tour at Pacific Coast Sign Supply in Damascus, Oregon, enabling area print professionals to meet exclusively with product experts and see the company’s latest digital imaging devices in action. The two-day stop gave attendees the chance to set up pre-arranged appointments and interactive product demos, with safety and social distancing protocols in place.
According to John Reinke, owner of Pacific Coast Sign Supply, the first Roland DGA roadshow was a big success. “With physical trade shows cancelled everywhere due to the pandemic, partnering with Roland DGA allowed us to bring the latest products to prospective customers in a safe and effective manner,” said Reinke. “It created an excellent environment for demonstrating Roland DG’s newest technologies, while also allowing us to discuss specific customer needs and how these cutting-edge devices can help them build their business.”
Roland DGA has also released additional dates and locations for its Demo Days Roadshow schedule further into 2020, for a total of six stops so far and more coming soon. The next stop will be September 22-24 at the Sign Outlet Store in Lisle, Illinois, followed by stops in Brooklyn Heights, Ohio, Wakefield, Massachusetts, Roanoke, Virginia, and Orlando, Florida.
