Rapid brings in Highcon’s cutting edge tech to meet growing production needs In NWA, USA
Despite world and industry wide delays and shortages amidst the pandemic, Rapid, already regarded as one of the most efficient display and prototyping companies in Northwest Arkansas, ramps up their capabilities with Highcon’s Euclid 5C digital cutting and creasing machine to meet growing demand in Northwest Arkansas, USA.
“We’ve jumped three lightyears ahead with this technology,” shares Chad Hartman, Rapid’s VP of Sales. “What once took us 22 hours to complete now takes us 45 minutes, which is exactly what our customers need: rapid delivery with high-rate efficiency. This will help ensure our clients can close deals faster.”
The Highcon Euclid 5C is a digital cutting and creasing machine that replaces a complex, expensive, slow die-making setup and process with an in-house controlled digital system. It offers the improved delivery, flexibility, and efficiency that Rapid needs to meet NWA’s growing production needs.
Mike Ciaramella, Highcon VP Sales & General Manager, Americas said “Rapid has achieved considerable growth by giving its customers what they want. We are proud that they’ve chosen Highcon’s digital solution to take them in to their next step forward in building a competitive advantage and bringing greater value to their growing client base.”
In addition to improved technology to meet their client needs, Rapid has added a new 22,000 sq ft facility focused on the e-commerce packaging sector and increased their personnel.
“We’ve added a total of 27 positions here at Rapid to handle the increased capacity and new ventures, such as the packout and distribution of goods and displays we build onsite. 2022 will see continued investment in both staff and technology,” says Kyle Jack, Rapid Owner.

About Highcon
Highcon develops, markets, sells, and supports a portfolio of digital cutting and creasing machines that cover a wide range of formats, substrates, and applications. The Highcon technology is transforming the industry, by providing cost effective solutions to the increasing manufacturing inefficiencies facing folding carton and corrugated carton manufacturers as the result of the emerging market trends of e-commerce, shorter time to market, lower job sizes and a drive to sustainability. Such requirements cannot be accommodated by the expensive and slow conventional die-making and setup process. The Highcon digital technology bridges the gap between agile production and design flexibility delivering improved responsiveness, JIT production, short runs, customization of structure and design, and the ability to perform a wide range of applications in-house. Highcon products are installed at customer sites around the world, including some multi-national companies, effectively supporting the needs of global and local brands”
