General Formulations Introduces Air Egress Semi-Rigid Print Media
General Formulations® (GF), a leading global manufacturer of pressure-sensitive roll and sheeted print media and laminates, proudly introduces its new GF Semi-Rigid Vinyl films with an Air Egress liner. Engineered for easier handling and faster installation, the integrated air-release channels allow for quick, bubble-free application, helping installers achieve a smooth, professional finish while improving overall installation efficiency.
The GF Semi-Rigid product line now includes four 6.0 mil white vinyl films featuring Air Egress technology. These films deliver outstanding print quality across today's digital printing platforms. Customers can choose between permanent or removable clear acrylic adhesives as well as gloss or matte white finishes to meet the needs of a wide range of graphic applications: GF 220AE gloss/permanent, GF 221AE gloss/removable, GF 222AE matte/permanent, and GF 223AE matte/removable. Each product is available in 54” and 60” wide-format roll media and printable with solvent, latex, and UV inks. This same construction is available for Offset printing. GF NFD 223AE (matte/removable) is also available in Narrow Format Digital sheets in standard sizes of 19"x13" and 29.5"x20.5" top coated and printable with indigo and toner.
Designed for short term/long term interior and exterior graphics with up to three years of durability, the films are ideal for general signage, decals, point-of-purchase displays, exhibit graphics, glass, and architectural graphics. The semi-rigid construction provides easier handling than traditional flexible vinyl, allowing installers to position and apply graphics quickly—even without a laminate.
