At PRINTING United Expo 2026, HP is showcasing its latest innovations from its Graphics Solutions business, spanning intelligent software, AI-powered automation, workflow solutions and new digital print capabilities. Designed to simplify operations and unlock growth, these solutions help print businesses adapt to a changing market and achieve their best work.
The headline launch is HP Large Format’s integrated AI production solution, bringing together cloud and edge intelligence at scale. It pairs new AI capabilities in HP PrintOS Production Hub with the HP Latex R530 AI Printer — the first compact, all-in-one rigid-and-flexible large-format printer powered by both cloud and on-edge AI[i] — to extend intelligence across the production journey, from order intake to output, helping print service providers simplify operations, reduce errors and unlock new opportunities with every print.
From Customer Order to Printed Output
HP PrintOS Production Hub, HP’s integrated large-format software for order management, job submission and remote print control, now adds new AI capabilities[ii]. AI Order Intake turns a customer email or a file into an order in seconds using natural-language AI, reducing average order creation time by 90%, from a couple of minutes to just a few seconds[iii]. AI Upscale fixes low-resolution files in one click, cutting back-and-forth with customers and avoiding delays. Both capabilities are printer-brand agnostic, so any Production Hub user benefits regardless of hardware.
On the shop floor, the HP Latex R530 AI Printer extends that intelligence from cloud to printer. AI Automatic Print Mode Selection[iv] chooses the optimal trade-off between quality and throughput, reducing operator guesswork, while more powerful onboard hardware speeds rendering and expands storage. For jobs needing no further processing, Direct Job Submission sends work straight from HP PrintOS Production Hub to print, connecting once-separate stages and reducing manual intervention from order intake to output.
Early users report both the speed and simplicity of the experience. Campano Lab in Italy called the system “very fast and intuitive,” while Sign On Time in Ireland reported “3 to 4 times faster submission,” adding: “If I send the file from here, in a few seconds it’s in the printer.”
Beyond AI, the HP Latex R530 AI Printer helps PSPs expand into higher-margin rigid applications without giving up roll-printing flexibility. Its all-in-one architecture switches seamlessly between rigid and flexible media, and the HP High Control Belt System prints directly on rigid substrates – reducing the material use and waste[v] of traditional Print&Mount workflows while keeping selected fiber-based media recyclable[vi]. HP Latex Inks, HP Pixel Control, and HP Latex White Ink technology deliver consistent quality across media and jobs, giving print businesses greater freedom to broaden their application offering.
The gains compound over time: after a year of using HP PrintOS Production Hub, Time2Display in the UK reported “an 80% improvement in order management and customer response times, alongside a 22% reduction in substrate waste, and a 15% increase in operational efficiency.”
“Print service providers are under constant pressure to deliver more jobs, faster, while maintaining the quality their customers expect. With HP PrintOS Production Hub and the new HP Latex R530 AI Printer, we are bringing intelligence into the production workflow where it can make a meaningful difference — simplifying everyday decisions, connecting previously separate production stages and giving PSPs a platform that can continue to evolve with their business,”
said Daniel Martinez, SVP, HP Large Format Printing GBU and GSB Software & Solutions.
The platform is designed to evolve beyond a one-time hardware upgrade, with new cloud- and edge-based AI capabilities rolling out over time to help PSPs build an increasingly connected production workflow. The HP Latex R530 AI Printer will be available from December 1, 2026, with two years of Plus Plan, which includes HP PrintOS Production Hub AI premium features and printer support. AI Automatic Print Mode Selection will be available early 2027 through a firmware upgrade.

Extending Unattended Production with Neolt
HP and Neolt are announcing the new Neolt Jumbo Unwinder, built to maximize productivity on HP Latex FS50, FS60 and FS70W printers. The unwinding and rewinding system feeds jumbo rolls continuously into the printer, reducing operator intervention and roll changes. By enabling longer unattended printing cycles, including several consecutive days, PSPs can boost efficiency and maximize printer utilization.
Advancing in Commercial Print and Publishing
HP is also spotlighting the strength of its end-to-end digital commercial print and publishing portfolio. The HP Indigo B2 platform continues to gain strong momentum, with more than 220 HP Indigo 18K and 120K presses installed worldwide, contributing to a global installed base of over 1,200 B2-format HP Indigo presses. This achievement underscores the growing market adoption of HP Indigo technology and HP’s continued leadership in advancing the commercial print industry's transition from analog to digital. The HP Indigo 18K Digital Press exemplifies this progress, enabling commercial printers to expand applications, boost productivity, and accelerate their digital transformation journeys in a rapidly evolving market.
One area attracting growing interest from commercial printers is trading cards, with 51%[vii] of industry decision-makers investing in higher-grade materials and card stock to meet professional grading standards. At PRINTING United, HP Indigo is bringing this opportunity to life with finishing collaborators Duplo, Nobelus, and Rollem. Together, the companies have developed best practices for high-quality trading card production, from print through finishing, showcased through a collection of unique, serial-numbered trading cards. Visitors to the HP Indigo booth can collect these exclusive cards throughout their journey for a chance to win one of 10 daily prizes.
In publishing, HP PageWide is accelerating the shift to digital book production, with two leading book manufacturers in Europe and North America installing the newly launched HP PageWide T500M HD, a monochrome 54-inch (1.4m) digital press built for high-volume book production on standard offset media at up to 1,000 fpm (305 mpm)[viii]. Beyond productivity gains, digital production offers measurable sustainability benefits. An independent life cycle assessment[ix] found that HP digital presses have a lower environmental impact than offset presses across all measured categories, including energy consumption, water use, resource utilization, toxicity and air pollution, with offset presses producing roughly 59% higher global warming impact. These advantages align with the publishing industry's focus on reducing waste, increasing renewable resource use and lowering its carbon footprint.
