Bringing together extensive expertise in wood processing, Tech-Together returns on September 22 and 23, 2026. This joint in-house exhibition format, organized by machinery and plant manufacturers as well as industry partners from Eastern Westphalia-Lippe (OWL), has become a well-established industry event over recent years and once again brings together technology providers, customers, and industry professionals from around the world. As a founding member, Hymmen will once again be participating in the event.
In-House Exhibition at Hymmen
On both event days, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Hymmen will welcome manufacturers of furniture, flooring, laminates, engineered wood products, and building materials to its Technology Center in Rödinghausen. Through live demonstrations, visitors will be able to experience production processes and the corresponding machinery technologies firsthand. Samples of finished products will showcase the outstanding quality of wood-based products and their surface finishes.
A key highlight will be demonstrations of Hymmen's industrial digital décor and texture printing technologies, featuring JUPITER, SATURN, and DLEplus (Digital Lacquer Embossing). A new addition is Hymmen ECHO, a technology designed to ensure Easy Color Calibration & Homogeneous Output for furniture, flooring, and building-material applications.
A customer case study, accompanied by a film documenting the furniture manufacturing process, will illustrate the latest developments in surface lamination, with a focus on high-precision edge wrapping. Product samples were recently brought directly from the production facility and will be available for inspection.
Adjacent exhibits will feature mirror-high-gloss and super-matt surfaces produced using the Calender Coating Inert (CCI) process, a technology that is currently in high demand within the furniture industry.
Another new development in the field of liquid coating is the coating and bonding of edge materials. This process will be demonstrated live in the press hall on furniture panels, formwork panels, and wood lamellas. The latter will subsequently be pressed into face layers using the laboratory press, showcasing selected aspects of Hymmen's production technology for engineered wood products. CPL and other products manufactured using the company's established double-belt press technology will also be on display.
Last but not least, all production systems within the Technology Center are equipped with smart2i, Hymmen's Industry Intelligence solution, which helps optimize production processes and ensure consistently high product quality.
Visitors will be personally guided through the Hymmen Technology Center by the company's technology experts, and comprehensive catering will be provided throughout the event.
Cross-Company Exchange, Innovation, and Practical Solutions
The concept behind Tech-Together is as simple as it is effective: several companies from one of Germany's strongest industrial regions open their doors simultaneously and showcase their latest technologies, machinery, production systems, and solutions in their own showrooms and event formats. This gives visitors the unique opportunity to visit multiple suppliers within just a few days and gain a comprehensive overview of the latest developments in wood processing technology.
Eastern Westphalia-Lippe is one of the world's leading locations for machinery and plant engineering in the wood processing sector. The region is home to numerous manufacturers and suppliers covering a wide range of areas along the value chain. From standalone machines and automation and digitalization solutions to complex production systems, visitors can experience an exceptional breadth of technological expertise.
At the heart of Tech-Together is personal interaction. Each participating company designs its event individually, providing insights into current developments, product innovations, and emerging technology trends. The focus extends beyond the presentation of machinery and equipment to the delivery of practical solutions that address customers' specific challenges.
Visitors can experience technologies firsthand, watch live demonstrations, and engage directly with company experts and representatives. Complementary digital content provides additional opportunities to explore products and innovations in greater detail.
What makes Tech-Together unique is the combination of individual events within a collective framework. Each company maintains its own identity while joining forces under the shared Tech-Together umbrella, effectively transforming the entire region into one large event location.
Tech-Together demonstrates the remarkable technological expertise and innovative strength concentrated in Eastern Westphalia-Lippe. The combination of individual in-house exhibitions and a collaborative event creates genuine added value for visitors. Within a short period of time, customers can visit different companies, compare technologies, and speak directly with industry experts. This personal exchange is what makes the format so distinctive and successful.
A Technology Tour Through Eastern Westphalia-Lippe
