For professionals at all experience levels who want to expand their technical knowledge of colour, printing processes, materials, and standardisation in a practical, flexible way, Fogra is launching an extended training programme in autumn 2026: four online intensive courses and 30 courses in the Fogra Web Academy.
Professionals in the printing and media industry increasingly face the challenge of mastering complex colour processes, modern standards and new technologies with confidence. For many companies, continuous and efficient training has therefore become a key factor for quality and competitiveness. To meet the industry's diverse needs, Fogra developed a diversified training portfolio, expanded in 2026 with a new online format.
New combined training format for colour management and offset printing
The additional courses offer combines the in-depth content of established in-person seminars with the flexibility of the Fogra Web Academy. The online intensive seminars take place on fixed dates. Four courses are planned for the autumn, including three seminars on colour management and one course on process control in offset printing.
Fogra Web Academy: Start of the new course year
In September, the new season of the Fogra Web Academy begins. With more than 500 graduates to date, this format has established itself as a reliable and practice-oriented training resource. A total of 30 courses provide a broad insight into colour, printing, finishing and standardisation. New topics include colour transformation of paper containing optical brighteners (OBA), HDR imaging, migration from packaging and 3D surface quality. All content is delivered live and made available afterwards as a recording. Participants can also qualify as a Fogra Web Academy Graduate.
Hands-on in-house training
For professionals who prefer practical exercises, Fogra continues to offer tailored in-house training. Topics and scope are tailored to the company’s needs, focusing on colour management, AI for media designers, print finishing, colour measurement, and the fundamentals of printing technology, as well as advanced courses on offset printing.The advantage: in-person training not only provides depth of knowledge but is highly application-oriented thanks to practical exercises, concrete examples and the opportunity to address individual questions.
By combining online intensive courses, the Fogra Web Academy, and in-house training, Fogra expands access to practice-relevant expertise. Interested participants can select the format that best suits their needs based on topic scope, depth and practical focus.
