In addition to long-established printing on cotton and the recently released option to print on dark polyester, Brother now makes it possible to print on leather as well. True to the motto “One Printer - Unlimited Opportunities” these three different materials can now be printed on in high resolution with all printers of the GTX series (GTX, GTXpro, GTXpro BULK).
The fact that you can print all materials on one printer without having to change inks or apply complicated modifications to the printer himself, makes this a particularly valuable feature for all users of the Brother GTX series. A major benefit of this new feature is that the users of our printers can expand their product range without having to make large investments!
The printing on leather can be done on the raw material in order to produce finished shoes, bags or other items in the next step but, of course, finished articles such as backpacks, belts and many other things can be refined with photo-realistic 4c prints as well. Depending on the preferences of the customer, he can choose between two kinds of fixation (matt and glossy) by using only one special pretreatment which can be obtained from Brother’s certified dealers as of 1st April.
