There are many claims made about the capabilities of UV printers: ‘We can print on this or that'; ‘Our ink lasts this long in these conditions'; ‘No dry time'; ‘No added labour'; ‘Full colour with no set-up,' etc.
However, it's the software that creates the output files and drives the printers.
The reality is that the printer can only do what we as operators tell it to do, and that is where the software comes in.
