Now the term printed electronics (PE) generally refers to the printing of electronic materials onto a flexible substrate.
Over the past several years there has been an increasing awareness of the potential benefits of PE, especially for flexible substrates, for the purpose of reducing weight and to anticipate high volume Roll-to-Roll printing assets.
