Plastisol printing inks have a long history in the textile printing world.

First developed in the late 1950s they have, for decades, been ubiquitous in the garment decoration industry.

They are versatile and can be used to create a broad array of effects and looks on many types of fabrics and materials.

Unlike water-based inks they do not dry in the screen or when left exposed to the elements.

This very characteristic is what made plastisol inks one of the drivers of the explosion of textile printing that has taken place in the decades since their development.
