In the first part of this article (see issue 3 2009) I discussed four of the six vital factors necessary for print table makeready that were critical for dynamic production performance.

I shall continue with the final two, which are perhaps the most crucial for affecting quality of image reproduction to replicate as much detail and likeness to the original film positive.

I shall also reveal what caused the problem at the commercial printer that was outlined in the first part of this article.
