WP Digital cleaning and pre-treatment solution

The cleaning process eliminates the microscopical contamination of the glass surface and produces regular transparent surfaces. It removes the greases, oils, and other residues that the glass is contaminated with during handling maneuvers.
The pre-treatment phase is altering the microscopic layer of the glass creating a roughness to provide mechanical anchor points for the adhesion promoter. A gas is used in a liquid state, in order to obtain a very good ink wettability (ink spreading) together with a physical and chemical bond of the adhesion promoter to the glass surface. The adhesion promoter is applied in a fine layer immediately after the flame coating and its purpose is to create an organic bridge between the inorganic glass layer and the organic ink. It is further increasing the stability of the ink layer.
The process has no delay time during the phases of cleaning, pre-treatment and printing.
